The 2021 digital conference on the theme Collaboration for the Future will be hosted jointly by the Civil Mediation Council and the College of Mediators. It will take place on the afternoons of 10 & 11 November.
The event is an excellent opportunity to hear expert speakers, connect with the Mediation community and exchange ideas with fellow mediators. The content will be relevant to all mediators with some sector specific options to choose from.
The conference will challenge a variety of different topics and issues using formats that encourage interaction and discussion. To name just a few of the workshops, talks and panels:
Updates in the Mediation Landscape
Mental Health, Self-Awareness and Unconscious Bias: The Importance of Looking After Yourself
Inclusion & Exclusion in Mediation: Being an Ally and Diversifying the Profession
Cross Sector Collaboration: How We Can Work Together for the Benefit of All
Mediation & Compulsory Regulation
Plus many more sector specific options covering community, civil/civil and commercial, family, SEND & workplace Mediation.
The key note address will be given by by the Right Honourable Sir Geoffrey Vos, Master of the Rolls who has taken a strong stance for Mediation. “ADR should no longer be viewed as ‘alternative’ but as an integral part of the dispute resolution process” Sir Vos said earlier this year.
Tickets
As an online event the conference is open to all with ticket prices at a reduced rate of £40 + VAT for members of the CMC and College of Mediators and full price tickets for £120 + VAT for non members.
All content will be available to ticket holders to view for two weeks after the event.
